I was born and raised in Wisconsin and spent most of my time on my grandparents hobby farm. Since before I could talk I was obsessed with animals and grew up with a very strong bond to animals and a desire to help animals.

 

I started volunteering for animal shelters and rescues as soon as I was old enough to be allowed. We had countless foster animals throughout my life and I truly learned so much from them! I graduated high school a year early so I could start college sooner. I studied Medical Microbiology, Genetics, and Chemistry at UW Madison!

 

I worked in the lab for several years, but just knew I had to do something with animals. As an adult I continued fostering, volunteering, and adopting. At that point I had started to notice that the amount of stable nice family dogs had decreased and many adoptable dogs were struggling with reactivity, aggression, and other issues that made them difficult to fit into an average family home.

 

I wanted to change that. I have a strong knowledgeable background in genetics and I am currently working with other incredible breeders to help change the way we see dogs and health and to create healthier, happier, easier family companions.​​
